<p> <em> Jorge Campos Navarrete was born in Acapulco, Guerrero, MEXICO on October 15, 1966. He has 4 sisters and 3 brothers. The initiation to play soccer at the amateur level at the age of 15. Debuted as a professional with the UNAM Pumas in 1988 and the following season he was the team's leading scorer with 14 goals. In 95 it happened; to the Atlante team and was currently hired for this season (97-98) by Cruz Azul. In 1996 he was the first player to sign for Major League Soccer (MLS) in the United States and he fulfilled; his second season playing for the Los Angeles Galaxy. His debut in the National Team was in 1991 from where he was a fundamental part of the national team. Forming part of the starting team in the 1994 World Cup and the 1998 World Cup in France. </em> </p>
